Hi. I like to read books and listen to their book-on-CD (ripped to iTunes) while exercising. Currently reading LotR for about the 50th time (I love Rob Inglis' interpretation!). I have now tried two different bluetooth headsets (LG HBS-700 and Sony MW-600). Both pair with the MBP (17", Late 2011) and control iTunes fine, at first. Then both seem to lose connection (even within a couple feet of the MBP) intermittently, and/or will no longer connect to the MBP. I then have to turn the headphones OFF, remove them from the MBP's bluetooth prefs, and reestablish pairing, then the process reoccurs. The same thing happens on my Mac Pro (Early 2009, Xeon 2.66).
I called Apple Support who said that bluetooth headphones for audio and those for cell phones are different. I need to get some that are for audio-only. No luck searching. Do any of you know of any that work?
