just my 2 cents,the lepai amp is a great little amp.i just purchased my 2nd one to use with a used pair of wharfedale 7.1 speakers for my work.for approx. $45 i have a great sounding at work system i also have one in my garage hooked up to some older venturi towers and a mp3 player in my work area and it sounds great it also gets loudfor such a smallbox and stays cool even after 10 hours of use.like i said for the watts it gives at 8 ohms it does get loud.but if you turn it all the way up it gets a little distroted and sometimes clips and shuts down,but all you do is turn the volume down abit and it turns back on.i also found out the better the recordingthe better the sound for example i down loaded most of my music from cds andthe sound is top notch compared to music downloaded from itunes. for the price there is nothing out there that can beat this little amp.its simply blows my mind.again just my 2 cents
