The Trailers they have shown for prerelease are not much interest to me then the ones I do expect to see at the conferences.

Yep, I think that current PS+ members will get a special deal or perk with the new tiered setup once it is announced on Monday. I'm subscribed through July of next year due to that discount offer they had aways back, but anyone who gets in before the conference starts should get the same perks if you read between the lines of his his tweet.

Yeah, but what is it?

If it's free to play (old) games and PSV stuff, it's still not worth it IMO. There's really been nothing about PS+ besides saving copy protected game saves that interests or benefits me. I simply don;t and won;t buy enough digital content to make it make sense. Giving me more of the stuff I don't want isn't a big incentive.

There are an infinite number of "ifs" out there since we don't know what it is. However, no product or service satisfies everyone's expectations and if perk A, B, C, etc. is dismissed, PS+ simply isn't for you at this time.

Maybe Monday's announcements will change your mind, but waiting until then to see is a bit of a chance if the current subscribers get some nice extras along with it as is hinted.

I'm gonna go ahead and grab a 3 month subscription just to be safe. But to be honest, I think it's a marketing ploy and everyone will get the same benefits regardless of when they signed up.

You may be right. But if a new subscriber finds a few good deals over the next three months to use it with, then it still works out pretty well for them.

I had the same opinion as you, but once I got PS+ I noticed I don't play any disc based games now.

I signed up for a year. Downloaded some of the old retro games and enjoyed playing them this evening. If they give me a few of these a month, its money well spent.

I'm going to guess that PS+ members will get to beta cloud gaming.

I hope it's something decent. I'm not finding much value with the free games on offer at the moment. Although, I will probably snag the Mafia 2 bundle for 15 bucks. I just wish there was a discount on Limbo or Journey.

Limbo was $7.50 in March on Plus. I grabbed it then.

Humble Indie Bundle has Limbo in it now. I know it's PC but...

I just don't understand how cloud gaming is going to work. Most games already have major latency issues now due to people with horrible connections stinking up rooms with +900ms latency...

Maybe for SP experiences, but people are focused on MP more than ever.

Like DD only, the infrastructure just isn't there,

Streaming games would be a supplement to the current play setup, not a replacement. Since the main way to play games still exist, this would simply be a cool, bonus option if true.

New rumor (thx NeoGAF): a German online retailer is listing Diablo 3 for the PS3.

Curious what sources everyone is using for the conferences?

How would that work....Diablo 3 is built around a mouse and keyboard interface?

Move support would be the obvious answer. Other than that KBM is supported on PS3, just not by many Dev's.

I've played both styles quite a bit, and I'm hoping for full pad support (instead of only mouse+kb) since to me it would control a lot better that way. You can actually instantly change directions and dodge with an analog stick, unlike the traditional mouse-click movement scheme.

Anyone who has played these top down action brawlers on the PS2 for instance knows what I mean (Champions of Norrath, BG: Dark Alliance, etc.). Sure, AoE spells a few other mechanics would have to be addressed in a D3 conversion to pad, but other than that, I feel the precise controls of an actual controller is superior.

Move + NaCon? I'd have to try it out to see how it felt.

Sad to see Twisted Metal getting visual (video of the game plus sweettooth) space on their event stage, yet Sony has given the new TM title almost ZERO support since launch. It's been a afterthought in the launch of the PSV and the online has more issues now than when it launched.

Beyond looked pretty good, but I wasn't a fan of Heavy Rain. Idiot writers spoiled it less than 2 hours in so I hope I like this one and hope they don't give the whole plot away this time.

Sony Smash Bros looked like the knock off that it is, not looking forward to it.

PS3/PS Vita cross play is coming.

Call of Duty Black Ops Declassified coming to Vita

Assassin's Creed 3 Liberation also coming with a Vita bundle and a white Vita.

Assassin's Creed 3 has Naval Warfare!

Far Cry 3 has 4 player co-op.

PS Move has a new game that makes a book come to life. Called Wonderbook... Scratch that, it almost looks like a new device all together.

There is a Harry Potter book for it based on using the move wand to cast spells and tell stories based on how the spells were discovered. (the live demo had several problems with reading the motions)
