How Do I View 3D .MPO Pictures thru HTPC Windows

Thread Starter
I have a Windows 7 HTPC (Home Theater PC) hooked up via HDMI to my Mitsubishi 3D TV. I recently bought a Sony Camera that takes 3D pictures in .MPO format. (Sony DSC-HX9V)

All I am trying to do is view the 3D pictures in 3D format on my 3D tv thru the Windows PC. However, I cant find any software that actually supports active 3D and .MPO 3D picture files. There are TONS of software that support blue/green glasses like in the 60's, but nothing with active shutter - at least that I have found. Even the software that came with the camera doesnt support 3D output.

I have read to try "StereoScopic Player" and I have, but even trying all of the modes it doesnt give me 3D results. Perhaps I have it set incorrectly?

I cant possibly be the only person that has a PC hooked up to a 3D tv looking to view 3D photos.... Not with HTPC's being what they are? Right?

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated. Thank you very much in advance!

Stereoscopic Player

View > Viewing Method > 3D Ready DLP TV

Then set your TV to Checkerboard

Stereophoto Maker

File Menu > Stereo > Interlaced > 3D DLP TV or Press Ctrl+Alt+F4

Then set TV to Checkerboard
