approx cost to have in-wall wiring installed?

Hi - I know I'll get the "we need more info" responses, but I'll ask anyway. If I were to have speaker wire run from a terminal in back of my receiver, in-wall, to terminals in the locations for a 7.1 system, ball park what should I expect to pay an installer? This is in an approx 25x15 foot room with 9ft ceilings, and a lit fairly open attic above. $200? $500? $1,000? Not looking to go with in-wall speakers at this time.

Just trying to get an idea. I'll get an actual quote, but I'd like a frame of reference.

I got it done and it went like this: one guy, (young A/V guy, sole proprietor I think, randomly called from Craigslist), $90 first hour, $60/hr thereafter, 5hrs (!) = $330, plus cost of wall plates, speaker wire, etc - total came to $440. Oh, and that included hooking up HDMI to my mid-ceiling projector.

It would have taken me forever to do it and I would have put my foot through the ceiling, although I would have paid ~$3 apiece for the wall terminal plates from Monoprice instead of $15 apiece from Lowe's.

At the end of the day, I'm happy it's done, and the cost wasn't prohibitive.

BTW, the installer was apologetic about the cost of the wall plates from Lowe's - he uses Monoprice, but this was a quick turnarounf thing, and he only had the kind that allow a speaker wire to pass through a split rubber grommet, so he picked up the more permanent kind with speaker terminals on his way to my house. Maybe Radio Shack would have had cheaper ones, maybe not.
