Looking for alternative to E35M1-M Pro - Noise problems

So I built a HTPC using a E35M1-M pro a few months ago. The main parts are

E35m1-m Pro
Silverstone case
Xonar ST + expansion
Seasonic fanless PSU
WD hard drive


From day one I have had the same problem. A switching noise that can be heard on the line out. The reason it is such a problem is that I am using very efficient speakers so every little noise is magnified in the system. Here is everything I have tried to get rid of it.

Replaced PSU - No change
Removed sound card - noise still comes through stock headphone/line out
disconnected power to HD while system is running - No change
replaced MB under warranty - just got it back and no change

I now think that this is a problem that is inherent to this motherboard. I am ready to try something else but I don't want to spend an arm and a leg considering how much I have already had to deal with. Can anyone recommend an alternative that is around the same price point, has PCI and onboard graphics good enough for 1080p?

Why didn't you RMA it? SMH....

A few options at the same price point -

A4-3300 + ECS A75 Micro-ATX = $117 After Rebate

A6-3500 + Same Board = $126 After Rebate

There a couple of post about sub-$100 Intel G-series based systems.

Here is a clip of the noise recorded using another computer. I have increased the amplitude which is why there is so much hiss. Can someone confirm that this is indeed coming from the motherboard itself? The only things I have not completely R&Red on this rig is the memory and the hard drive but considering the noise is still there when the hard drive is removed from power, I doubt that is the cause. The noise is affected by some processes if that makes a difference.

Before I go and order my new motherboard, could someone take a listen to the noise and tell me if there is anything else I may want to try first?

Have you taken this computer to a different location (friend's house, etc) and tested it? Have you connected it to a different monitor/tv? Have you tried removing everything from the case and running it while the motherboard is just sitting on a board? Hiss is usually related to power and grounding, just like it is when you encounter hiss in a car stereo, and it can also be influenced by feedback from external devices, like a monitor. So, I would try doing all of these things to verify that none of the other hardware is causing it before you buy a new motherboard.

Is the noise random or repetitive ? It kinda sounds like some sort of switching on the power...maybe a leaking/bad capacitor. Could be anything so you need to isolate it to a specific item.
