crystalio vs dvdo vp30 with abt102 for ld?

I already own a dvdo vp30. There is a person I know he wants to sell his c2 for $1000. He says he tried many vps and c2 is the best for ld. My ld player is cld 97. I also watch fios sd and hd programing and occasionaly hd internet streaming. My dvdo is superb with deinterlacing scaling sd but poor comb filter and doesnt scale 1080i to 1080p properly.it also doesnt have any noise reduction(i dont iknow if this helps lds). Please help i must decide soon

A C2 for $1000 is a steal!

it outperforms the Radaince on SD Material nad the comb filter is superb.

won't do you any good with the CLD-97, as the Composite
output is recombined from the comb filter!

get a better LD player!

Whats better than 97? And has direct composite beside older analog players? X0? As far as i know that recombines after tbc but then a x0 is $5000+

The crystalio II had the best comb filtering back that day. It was 3d 5line, with an absolute perfect component design. I think its still the best out there.

I have the Crystalio II and unfortunately it broke down. Replaced it with a VP50 and the CII did outperform that one.
