Tweeter below the mid-driver on a bookshelf speaker?

I'm currently running old Klipsch reference speakers up front (L+R floor standers with a center). I decided to go front wide, but due to a lack of funds, I can't afford a set of reference bookshelf speakers to be used as my front wide speakers. I went with a pair of inexpensive klipsch icon's as they were on sale and have a tractrix horn which will at least get a similar sound to my klipsch references. The problem is that my stands are a little too tall and with the tweeter at the top, it'll be siting higher than the tweeter on the floor stander. Can I just flip it upside down to keep the tweeter heights the same for my fronts? Or will I be okay with the mis matched heights?

Flipping it shouldn't be a problem (as long as they're still stable on the stands - since more weight will be on the top).
