I've noticed on 2 of my receivers (Onkyo 608 and Onkyo 3009) both have Auto Lip Sync function, but neither of them seem to do anything. TV is normally synced up fine, but blurays through my PS3 I need to delay 150-200ms. After a quick google search, I learned that the TV must be sending a signal back to the receiver telling it how long it takes to process the image. However, I have not seen the name of one TV that actually does this.
My current TV is a LG 42LD520, but I would definitely upgrade if I KNEW that it came with the "Auto Lip Sync" function. It just gets so annoying having to set the delay every time I watch a bluray. I mean whats the point of having a receiver and HDMI 1.4 that can use the lip sync feature if the TV does not.
