Hi everyone. Thank you for all the help so far.

Will you help me pick an amp /or receiver? I will list a few I'm thinking

Would the onkyo or the Sony be the best choice? I have a limit of 200. This is a music only set up.

Sherwood 4105 -- 100 Watts per Channel x 2 in Stereo Mode with less than 0.08% THD, 20
Hz-20 kHz, 8 Ohms

Sherwood 4503 -- Output Power : 100W X 4Ch (1kHz, THD 0.05%)@6 Ω 100 Watts RMS per channel with no more than 0.10% THD, from 20 Hz to 20Khz.

Technical pro hb 2502 ax2000 iab1100 -- I can't find and rms or thd info on this brand. They are feature packed but Id think it'd be full of cheap parts.

Sony sth-dh100 -- (8Ohms 1kHz) THD RMS : 1% (8Ohms 20-20kHz) THD : 0.09% 4Ohms 1kHz EIAJ : 8Ohms 1kHz RMS : 100W + 100W 8Ohms 20-20kHz : 90W + 90W

Onkyo tx-8255-- 50 w/ch, 8 ohm, 20Hz - 20kHz, 0.08% THD, FTC

Audiosource amp 100 amp 102 --- The AMP-100 boasts a precise frequency response of 20 Hz to 20 kHz and total harmonic distortion of 0.02 percent. (50 watts x 2 into 8 ohms)

Thank you for your time.

The Onkyo is a nice no-frills stereo receiver and well regarded (budget receiver) here on the forums. It wouldn't be a bad choice IMHO.

Either the Onkyo 8255 or the Harman Kardon 3390 from the Harman ebay store. Comes with mfrs 2 year warranty. $199 with free shipping.

What sources would you connect to this receiver?

The audiosource doesn't have a phono input in case you have a turntable. No tone controls either.
