Multiple room audio question...

Thread Starter
I just bought a new house and I'm looking for some guidance. My request is fairly simple, add speakers to our kitchen, hallway and possible a 3-season room. My issue is that I have an Onkyo HTS6100 HTIB and it does not offer zone 2. So I'm struggling with whether it is worth it to power my speakers from the Onkyo or some other type of distribution source.

What have others in this situation done? I would like to be able to watch TV and have music playing seperatly. I also would like to be able to stream Pandora or Sirius XM from my computer. What's the easiest way to implement this? How can I get audio from my PC to these speakers the most economically possible?

sonos, many options

Sonos is great, and Logitch Squeezeboxes are a lower cost (but more setup required, but more customizable)

You could also look at getting a second receiver and connect it to your computer. If you get one that supports it, you can use an android/iPhone app to control it remotely. If you don't care about playing different sources in different areas, a cheap speaker selector would work. Will probably be cheaper than Sonos.
