Using two different subwoofers for stereo listening.

I'm using a pair of A/D/S M9 (mini tower) speakers in my den. I'm using my Luxman R-117 as the amp, and a Firestone USB Dac to my Mac Mini/iTunes.

I have a Klipsch SW-110 Subwoofer hooked up on the left side, and a Polk PSW10 Subwoofer on the right side (using "Y" connectors off the pre-out/main ins) Is it okay to mismatch the Subwoofers??

Or am I better off:

1. Using just 1 sub (Klipsch)
2. Purchasing another Klipsch to match
3. Just do what I'm doing

Thanks for any opinions.

In that scenario, I would use either do 1 or 2. Doing what you are doing is like having two different speakers. One thing you could do is have one sub up front and another in the back, but co-locating two different subs with the speakers isn't ideal.

Thanks for the reply. I guess I'll just go back to 1, as I don't have a lot of space in the room right now.
