Before finding our deal on a new 60" U series I was running out of hope for finding anything new and almost settled on a choice of display models. Glad we didn't after finding out they are left on 24/7 on the brightest setting. Never settle on a floor model.

So the 65st50's are pretty much nowhere anymore??

Might be looking to get into the 65-70ish class soon and figured I might jump on the st50 if the price difference from the st60 would be large.

Unfortunately sears is out of $799 50st50 so amazon will not price match. Anyone able to find anything remotely close to 799 for a new 50st50

Not that it really matters anymore, but I found it funny...Amazon has now finally lowered the price of the 60ST50's to be lower than the 60ST60's. Back in late Feb I'd have jumped on that price, but with the performance of the new models they'd have to get pretty low indeed...

PC Richards in Bayshore, Long Island has the 50ST50 for $750.

So, I'm thinking of selling my 55st50 and upgrading to a 60st60. It has about 400-500 hours, is in perfect condition, and has been calibrated; any ideas on how much I should expect to get for it? I was thinking of trying to get $1000, but I feel I might be asking too much? Thanks for the input.

hhgreg has 60 in s60 for 1075.

I also just sold my 50 in for 275. used is used and depending on when you bought it it might put out pcm instead of true DD HD as all Panasonic plasmas did thru 2010.
