Post any and all GoPro discussion in this thread, and most importantly post your GoPro videos here!



Here are my most recent videos.

Lake fishing trip, filmed with a HD Hero2 720/60. Suction cup mount was used on the kayak, and the vented helmet mount was used on my dogs life jacket. Time lapse sequence I had the camera set to 10s intervals, I'm not sure how long it was filming for to get that short clip, maybe 20-30mins tops.



Local river race, HD Hero2 used with the chest mount, and a HD Hero with the suction cup mount on the bow of the kayak @ 0:51. Both were set to 720/60.


Edited using Adobe Premiere Pro CS5.

Here are a couple vids I took with the HD hero. First one is a timelapse with one pic taken every 5 seconds over about 3 hrs and played at 30 fps. Second is a drive down Ft. Lauderdale beach.

HD Hero2, skeleton back door for the housing, 720/60

Did this to get a sound clip of my bike, posting this here since there were questions regarding audio. When reviewing the footage, I was more than impressed with the audio the Hero2 managed to capture even with wind noise.

The motion blur gets smaller as the shutter speed gets faster. Does anyone know how the GoPro AUTO exposure control selects shutter speed? Does the shutter speed at 120 fps become very fast in bright sunlight?

What made you go with the GoPro camera ? I saw them at BestBuy when i bought my Canon HF M50 . I think those are really neat cameras !

Size, aftermarket support, mounting options, and the image quality of the HD Hero2 is phenomenal. Significantly improved over the original Hero. It's difficult to beat the value of the Hero2 when looking for a good POV camcorder.

That is one heck of a trail ! Gosh it looks so ruff ! Were you ok when you fell ? Overall the video is really good but the 2 sections you did the slowmotion ... , personally i wouldn't do that . I saw one like that the other day and a guy had a dog running behind him downhill . I felt so sorry for the dog but gosh what a run and the dog never got far behind !

Messing around with my new AP rig and using a gopro 2 for now. This was my first flight with the camera testing it out. It's set up to fly in first person view with goggles that my buddy is wearing as I flew it line of site.

Local drift event my buddies attended, made a short video for them. Used my buddies dslr for the still shots, Hero2 @ 720/60 for the action footage.
