ematcion,
Thanks for the heads up!!
Count me in as long as Analogue Productions actually delivers.
Since there is an actual release date this sounds promising.
If it had a TBA like the "Doors" SACD's I wouldn't be to excited.
Just downloaded the latest "Nora Jones" Little Broken Hearts a few days ago.
Much more pop sounding than her earlier stuff.

Is there something wrong with Come Away with Me, I thought I read there was some production issues with it ?

Well I will definitely get Feels Like Home which I love ,not a huge hit but love the country feel, and the sweets songs, not too familiar with the rest of her work.

Thanks for the info

The "Come Away With Me" SACD is famous (or infamous) for its stereo DSD mix being made from the master for its CD layer. The multi-channel DSD mix is fine. Of course, if you don't care about the stereo DSD mix, then it may not matter to you.

Hmm, interesting, but since I already have the Come Away With Me SACD, and I buy SACDs for the surround mix, I guess I'll be just observing these releases.

These are being remastered from the original tapes by Kevin Gray - I will definitely consider picking some of these up. Gus Skinas confirmed via e-mail that everything he gets from Kevin Gray is truly analog>DSD.

"The box set will be wrapped in a textured paper that feels like linen."

Wow. I'll rush right out and spend $230 on 6 stereo sacd's, as long as the box feels like linen.

I want the box set with the extra disc but its release date is a month after the individual discs?

Edit - just noticed the little broken hearts SACD is not out until June.

That would be 5 stereo SACDs and 1 MCH SACD (Come Away With Me). I'll wait to read the reviews when these titles are released. But no way will I be buying the box set though.

But,but it's wrapped in texture paper that feels like linen, not enough to push you over

The box set does look like a ripoff compared to the regular releases - I do want the extra disc though.

If that linen is at least a 500 thread count then I'm in.

I like Norah and I would like the extra "bonus" disc but I already have Come away with me on sacd, and the price is steep imo for stereo sacd's. Don't understand why they are not mch. Was thinking of going the vinyl route but that's more money. I'm sure someone will put the extra disc on the bay.

I feel the same way, I think if they would have been mch I would have been a bit more excite about these, I do want Feels Like Home though.

I'm inclined to get the individual SACD's vs the pricey (Linen) box set.
Most likely will get all of her titles (pending positive reviews) except "Come Away With Me" which I already have.
If these SACD's get stellar reviews I might look for the bonus disc.

Not trying to keep this thread going but I guess we should be thankful to some extent that a contemporary artist's newest album is being released on sacd as well as her back cataloge. Just wish they would take the money spent on fancy paper and put it toward a mch mix.
