FYI - Just saw an EFI-ES1000 uv cut i1pro listed on eBay for $85.00 buy it now price. (?)

If anyone is interested...

I didn't think it would last long. Claims to be "new in original packaging" with free shipping. I almost bought it myself, but I'm currently awaiting delivery of the one I just purchased.

I probably should've grabbed it anyways... Oh well. Hopefully somebody here got the deal.

Is the uvcut version able to be used for HT?

My understanding is, in the early designs no. But at some point xrite modified the design to allow emissive light to pass through the filter unmodified, and the uv cut versions could be used for HT.

I do not know at what point this change was made, but the recommendation seems to be to get a rev D, so maybe that's when?

All versions of the i1Pro rev D are good for HT use.
