Von Schweikert VR-33 (A Wilson Sophia or VR-5 equivalent?)

Hello All,
I currently have VSA speakers in a 9.2 setup. The mains are VR-2s and have had them for years. Recently, I upgraded to a Placette Passive Linestage from an already excellent tube preamp and the VR-2s in 2-ch stereo started to shine even more. I started treading back into dedicated 2-ch and decided to upgrade from the VR-2s to another VSA speakers. I tried many different brands and models (about a dozen) before arriving at the VR-2s. Today Albert himself called when I left a message with questions on the VR series and he recommended the VR-33 in my price range. I have read reviews comparing the Wilson Sophias to the VR-5 SE where some preferred the VR-5 SE over the Sophias. Apparently the VR-33s are in par with the VR-5 SE and transitively would be in par with the Sophias if the claims are true. Have any of you here heard or own the VR-33s? Please post your thoughts.
Thanks,
-Jai

Thanks. I already did. I would like opinions on this forum. Hopefully one of the VR-33 owners here will chime in.
