I've an opportunity to pick up one of these cheap, my question is has anyone much experience with these?
In the days of apple tv's and usb Media Players is this just an expensive hard drive, i don't need to TV function of the SMC as i've Sky TV (I'm uk based).
So really its just for storing/sorting my music and avi movies.
I have an apple tv at the moment with xbmc installed so do i really need the Russound SMC? whats the benefits if any?
I'll be installing this along side my Russound CAV and VM1-8 system, will the SMC give music/track/info data back to the Uno-S2 Keypads? is it rnet?
I just want to ensure that im not spending money on a expensive hard drive that i don't need.
Any advice appreciated.
