SPOILER ALERT, IF YOU HAVE NOT SEEN THIS MOVIE DO NOT READ FURTHER

Just watched the movie for the first time on blu-ray. Very entertaining and very nice spots of LFE.

The Epik Phoenix and 2 Bic F12's shook the whole house on the Kremlin explosion scene, impressive LFE on that scene.

The part that made me jump through the roof is when Ethan is being briefed by the Secretary in the SUV; they are driving along all quiet like, then BOOOOOM! I didn't know where to go but straight up. Of course my friend laughed at me because he had seen it in the theater and knew what to expect.

I have to say it's been a long time since I have been startled like that, great job MI 4. Thought I would share.

Way to spoil it for others that haven't seen it.

+1
My son and I went to see this in the theater when it first came out. Either I forgot about that scene or the impact in the theater was not the same as it was for me at home; but, I literally almost jumped out of my seat when that BOOOOOM! occurred. WOW!!!!! That was a very good setup on how they did that.

Haha!

Same exact 2 scenes that made us jump off our seats too! AWESOME!

Me too! It actually felt like someone hit me in the head with a 2x4. I think I heard some over excursion too. I have 3 ported 18's and 2-12's (DTS-10).

My theater has entry in the rear - there was a scene where there was a knock on the door in the rear, and I started standing up, and had to try to look all cool like "I was just sitting more upright in my seat, of course I knew that was from the movie".
