I'm looking to build an indoor wireless home security video system that i could complement with outdoor cameras later on.
1) Resolution: ~1280x1024 or lower, H.264 streaming, Working great in low light night time enviroment. Need pan/tilt/Zoom, Power over Ethernet.
2) Motion detection, would prefer that software detects motion in the video feed, not some IR type detection.
3) Encrypted and use secure e-mail to send notification of motion at certain times of day.
4) Built-in Mic (2-Way Audio with Speake/mic jacks)
Sotftware: thinking of BlueIris unless the one provided is better.
My budget is ~ $500 but will pay more if there's a significant benefit. This is what I am looking at:
-- Compro IP540 or Dericam H501W (~$300 each)
-- Foscam F18910W or Dericam M801W (~>$159 each)
I am not sure that the high res will make a huge difference indoor and would greatly appreciate feedback/comments to help in picking the right solution!
Thank you.
