Servo F-1200 Amplifier Issue

This sub worked perfected since 1995 until I noticed chirping sounds coming from the back of the unit. Then is started to make a baffling-type sound at certain frequencies. These sound perhaps was due to a bad seal. For example, I could feel air pressing through the volume and crossover control knobs.

I unplugged the unit and removed the amp plate to take a look. There everything was sealed well, except I noticed the foam tape around the circuit board that covers the small hole where the speaker wires enter the amp housing was pretty worn out and flat. So I put some fresh foam tape around the circuit board and put everything back together again.

Now the sub does not work at all. The amp comes on because it gets warm, but no sound whatsoever.

Any suggestion as to what I may have jarred or disconnected to cause this?
I checked the fuse, which is fine, plugged in the small plug for the speakers. Is there an automatic shutoff/cutoff sensor that can be reset? Lastly, is it possible to purchase an official or other replacement amp for this unit?

Any help is very much appreciated. Thanks,

Dave
