I have a Pioneer VSX-1121-k that I use the second zone to pipe Sirius via the HMG to my whole house audio system. I was wondering if there is a way to keep the second zone from timing out so that it will stay on all of the time. Right now it works fine, but I have to turn it on and switch to HMG each time I want to listen to Sirius throughout the house. Once it is turned on it will stay on for quite a few hours, but eventually times out. I have not timed it to see how long it stays on.
Also, I am currently using the HDMI out to provide audio to my television in another room. I haven't been able to get audio out of the main channel preamp outputs. Is there something I need to turn on to get audio out of the preamp outputs that I am not aware of? I also have a VSX-32 that I have been using as a preamp and it works just fine.
