FiOS / Motorola 7232-2 vs. TiVo

Hey guys,

After years with DirecTV I switched to FiOS a few months ago. All in all, I'm happy with the service. There are a few things that bug me about their DVR interface, but it's not too bad.

I was wondering what would I gain by switching to TiVo, if anything. I also have an Apple TV and an XBOX 360, so online services are pretty much covered by those two. Is there anything that should make me consider switching?

Thanks.

The most obvious advantage to Tivo is capacity, depending on which model you get. Other advantages include wish lists, search, and (arguably) a more intuitive interface. That said, if you are happy with what you have, why pay more? Ignorance is bliss and all that.

FWIW: I am planning to switch to Tivo when I leave DirecTV in August, but I am rather picky about interfaces and usability.
