I haven't heard yet if Sharp even has a booth there , that shot is from a "Office of the Future" type display / booth smile.gif

Huh, no info on a 94" 4K Sharp anywhere, I am going to call BS on this. Sharp showed 60" and 70" 4K at CES and rumor to have 80" 4K. The have 90" 1080p and even a 90" 1080p with local dimming for their professional signage department. So why would they switch to odd size? I could see 90" or 95", but not 94". The rest of their lineup is 60", 70", 80", 90". Could this be another re-badged LG 84" 4K?

Hmmm, I guess we may get some interresting info on this over the next few days. I'm VERY curious about the specs of this new 94in TV. I wonder if it will be in the 4k 84in Sony/LG/Toshiba price range?eek.gif Anyhow that got me all excited when I read about this last night...biggrin.gif I sure hope Sharp comes up soon with something in the 80-90 size range at a somewhat "affordable" price that has local dimming... given they don't go bankrupt.frown.gif

I cant find were they did more moves to help them financialy and they recently partnered up with someone else too. ALso there igzo display tech that there working on should be good its more affordable and cheaper to produce with better quality picture. When you click the link look for sharp news, this website has allthe news of tv manufacturers and what they are planning. It goes in depths about there igzo panels.

I think you will have to email Robert Kozel who wrote the article and see if that 94" really exists or is just a prop.

I kinda think it is a cardboard set used for the 'future room'. Can't seem to find any mention of it on the internet.

LC-90LE745U price is 10k up here in Canada. I could get one for something around 8.8k. But I don't know how that translate into pesos... confused.gif

The lowest I can find price wise is 9K and that is an online price, BB wants 10K and then you would pay another $600 in taxes.

Hi Guys,

Yes I got the thing last Friday. My brother in law picked up my 70 inch SXRD which had the yellow optical block problem. The biggest thing I noticed image size wise that on the sharp a 2:35:1 letterboxed movie had the same image height as a full screen 16:9 image on the sony 70 inch while the image width was 17 inches greater than the 70. Big impact 65% more image than the 70 inch on all aspect ratios. The first movie I watched was Passion of the Christ which I hadnt seen since it came out. Its a hard movie to watch brutal visceral but mesmerizing and absorbing on a big display. I havent touched the settings except for selecting film mode. When I get 150 hours on it I'll get a calibration.

What video mode are you using?

Did you try 3D? If so how's cross talk?

Do you plan on getting it calibrated?

How far are you sitting from the TV?
