Changing subtitle flags

Is there an easier way to change the subtitle flags than to let MKVmerge mux away for an hour on a movie?

Mission Impossible 4 - I've used MakeMKV to save the video, audio and subtitles. I wasn't sure which subtitle track to choose so I picked them all. Now that I've figured out which one is for just the foriegn language bits I've changed the "forced" flag using mkvmerge but I'm not happy with it taking close to an hour and requiring twice the storage to do so.

Thanks.

1 hour seems like a very long time to remux unless you have some old full hard drive.

There is a header editor with mkvmerge gui that will let you change pretty much any meta data, including forced/default flags for any track. It updates the file in place changing only the file header fields without having to rewrite the entire thing. Menu File->Header Editor.
