I've been working on my Star Wars theater over the last year. This forum has been invaluable in coming up with ideas on how to put it together. I built the theater in a 2nd floor bed room which was a nice space, but smaller than my previous house theater. This time around I wanted a screen wall but posed some difficulties, because I needed to conserve every bit of seating area I could. After looking at some various minimalistic screen walls, my dad and I came up with a screen wall that hid the speakers, but also prevent loss of screen to chair distance.
All right phase one. Paint and carpet. Lost the battle to replace the newer carpet in the room, so I just ended up carpeting the riser and front. I went with a flat Micky Mouse Ears paint for the ceiling and Mick's shadow (Nice gray) for the walls. I had to cover a window, and removed a door to swing outward to make space for the riser
