Panasonic P50VT30 - picture quality

Hi

I wonder if any has any idea as to what may be happening on my new tv. On some scenes 'wavy lines' appear on faces, especially in darker shots. I am not sure if this is what people refer to as dithering as I cannot find too much about it. It certainly appears to be lines though that disappear as the shot changes.

Does not seem so apparent in HD or on Blu Ray etc but more whilst watching Sky programmes and some Freeview programmes.

I want to be sure that there is nothing wrong with the TV. Panasonic have been no help whatsoever.

Thanks in advance for ideas and what I should do, especially if the TV has a 'fault' and needs to be returned.

Can you take a picture and post it for us? You may also want to post this on the plasma forum,
you may get a quicker response.

You'll get more help if you post in the VT30 thread in the plasma forum.
