Help deciding on a 3D TV

I bought a PN51E8000 Sammy plasma a few weeks ago and ended up returning it for a Panny GT50 50" Plasma.

While I am much more satisfied with the GT50, I am now considering on returning it for a LED TV.

Reason being, I am paranoid about IR and have been avoiding playing games as much as I would of been.

3D movies, and Blu-ray are outstanding on the GT50.

My options the I am currently considering, keep the GT50 and buy a cheap TV for gaming.

Or return the GT50 and buy a LED that has that best 3D I can get.

Based on what I am reading, the Sony HX929 and HX850 are really good. As is the LG LM7600.

Can anyone give me some feedback as to their impressions of any the above mentioned TV's?

If you were in my shoes, what would you do?

The Sony HX929 is a top of the line active 3D display. The Lg LM7600 is a not qite top of the line passive 3D display. I believe you can find a better LG, then your choice would be pretty much which you prefer active or passive taking into account the positives and negatives of either format. Of the choices you list I do prefer the Sony HX929. It is the best or second best active LCD display available in the opinion of many in this forum.

You mentioned a better LG? Are you referring to the 8600 or the 9600 by any chance? The 9600 won't be out for awhile and would rather not wait that long.

What do people on the forum say is the best active LCD display aside from the HX929?

Yes i was referring to the 8600 or the 9600. Your know more about LG tan I do I guess.

A lot of people are saying the top of the line Sharp is the best LCD, bar none.

Based on Panasonics performance with Plasmas this year, I may try out the WT50 Viera. Hard to find anything about it on forums, since only the 47" is out so far.

I am putting a lot of thought into the purchase, as I don't want to regret this 2 years down the line.

You mentioned a Sharp is often noted as the best LCD, is it the LE835U series? there is quite a deal running on the 60"...tempting.

I believe it's the Sharp Elite PRO-70X5. It's 70" and cost plenty $6650. I'm sorry if my info isn't helpful.

That TV is quite pricey as you mentioned.

Looks like for me its down to getting a 850 / 929 / WT50 LED or a larger size of the plasma I currently have (GT50 50").
