I originally purchased my Sound Blaster Tactic3D Alpha headphones for my computer gaming, but with their great sound i decided to give it a shot and plug the 3.5mm stereo jack directly into my 42" Samsung 1080p HDTV's audio out port. The game audio's sound remained impeccable, but i'm completely stumped at how to use the mic along with my Xbox 360. From what i understand the jack on the controller is 2.5mm. I don't know exactly what info someone would need to solve my issue, but i will say i have a stereo 3.5mm to 2.5mm converter, and it still does not recognize the microphone. I've also done some reading around the forums and found something called a mixamp(?), i believe, what exactly does that do? Any help would be greatly appreciated, and thank you in advance!
