Bi-amp Denon 4311CI for 5.1?

I have a Denon 4311CI that I will be moving over to my new 5.1 setup with 5 of the B&W CM1 speakers. I'm a newbie when it comes to setting up receivers beyond stereo mode (previously it was just on a 2.1 setup). Should I take advantage of the bi-amp capability in the 4311CI and wire the tweeter and the midrange speaker on the front CM1s separately (removing the metal bridge on the back of the speaker)? I am in the middle of running 14/4 wire to each CM1. Does bi-amping apply to just the front left and right, or also the center speaker?

It will make little or no difference with the CM1s.

The feature only applies to the FL/FR speakers, although as Kal notes, save your speaker wire and just wire them up normally.

Just out of curiosity, why did you buy a 4311 for a 5.1 setup?

KidHorn, mainly because I tend to "buy the best" and hold on to it for 10-20 years. I hate having to constantly upgrade gadgets .. then they own my life with the time I spend researching every purchase. Instead I buy higher quality than what I really need go longer in between upgrades.
