MPC-HC audio sync issues

Hi all!

I started building on my HTPC a couple of months ago and I am getting closer and closer to something really great. The only real issue I have right now is audio and video sync.

HTPC specs:

ASUS F1A75-M Pro mobo
AMD A4-3400, 2,7Ghz cpu
HD6410D graphics (integrated in CPU)

I use MPC-HC with LAV Splitter, LAV Video decoder and LAV audio decoder. Audio is decoded to PCM and sent to an analogue 7.1 soundcard connected with USB. I use Arcsoft DTS decoder to get DTS-HDMA decoded properly.

I have tried several different output plugins for the video but all have issues.

* EVR Custom Pres: Audio/video lag
* EVR Sync with D3D on: Audio/video lag
* EVR Sync with D3D off: No sync issues but tearing problems
* MadVR: Audio/video lag, sudden framedrops/very short audio dropouts

The audio/video lag is of the kind that changes during the movie, adding a fixed delay does not help.

Right now, I live with the tearing and use "EVR Sync" with D3D fullscreen disabled. It is less annoying than lipsync issues - but of course it is not an optimal solution.

I have read that Nvidia is the best choice for HTPC, since it can lock exactly on 23.976Hz. Is it somehow possible to solve this with ATI/AMD? I really like my current specification since it allows for a completely fan-less operation. Adding a dedicated gpu will most likely require additional cooling. If that is the only way to go, I will do it. But if it can be avoided and solved with my current specs, that would be great.

Any ideas?

Enabling Aero has now solved the issue with tearing while using EVR sync without D3D fullscreen.

I will post more when I have watched some more movies and confirm if the issue is solved.
