I just ordered a main board for a tv that no longer stayed on and. I'm wondering if anybody knows what some white "foam" is that is stuck on what appears to be the video processor chips(old board). The are perfectly square(no longer after I removed the mainboard). I was thinking they might be to dissipate heat but have no clue.... As I'm ordering a new board I want to know if they are important, ergo, if the new board should have them. Pics included.
