Would there be any reason for a passive (non powered) AV selector to be designated NTSC or PAL only? Wouldn't there be no electronics inside that would make it one format only? I am looking at a passive selector that is advertised as NTSC only but i would hope to use it with PAL too but i cant see why i couldn't if it was passive and had nothing altering the signal.
