We are rebuilding a trailer for our Marketing Department, and replacing the two LCD flat-panels that have been "hammered" (to say the least). The two sets were mounted on swing-out arms, so they could be set up side-by-side just outside the rear doors of the trailer....we used them to demonstrate the difference between analog and HDTV, during the Great Transition.
We want to install a single, larger (55") Sony LED set. Can we transport it in a face-up or face-down position, mounted on a fold-down bracket? We'd like to have it ride in a box-like compartment in the top of the trailer, rather than having it sit vertically along the side wall...unless the vibration and weight would damage the LED screen or components.
Are we asking for trouble?
