awesome, yeah i came across it and figured it was almost dead on to your measurements.

The only thing we don't agree on is that i do like to sound of the srs trusurround, especially with movies.

It's not that the surround effect from the VSB200 was bad. I use the soundbar when watching the news and the shows like 20/20, 48hrs where surround sound is not needed so adding the simulated surround sound to these shows didn't sound quite right for me. When I watched movies, either from BD's or from cable TV, I used my Yamaha 7.2 system instead. Just to clarify.

haha that makes sense, so this was used for more of a vegging system. stuff i would watch in the bedroom

i also got scared because i was getting all lights on at first. it was because i had my cable box audio setting for surround sound instead of stereo. obviously it couldn't handle the surround feed

The good thing is the VSB200 has an auto overload protection circuit which will kick in automatically when the SB gets overloaded. We will only need to reset the SB without damaging the SB.
