Perfectly silent, MadVR capable and good-looking mini-itx HTPC build advice

Hey hey !!!

[EDIT: system is built, check results a few posts later: here ! ]

Following some user builds, I plan to replace my current HTPC (Sugo SG06B, ASROCK H67M-ITX, i3 2100, GTS 450, 4Go, Samuel 17 + Noctua, SSD Corsair F40 40Go).

Objective:
_ about 0dB
_ powerfull enough to run XBMC with MPC-HC external player with LAV filters + MadVR
_ minimum volume
_ decent look

Do not need:
_ DVD / Blu-Ray player
_ TV/SAT card
_ HDD
_ Remote management (I'm using PS3 blutooth remote and love it)

Will run under Win7 64.

Build:
Case : STREACOM FC8 - Mini ITX Fanless : http://www.streacom.com/products/fc8-fanless-chassis/
--> Not cheap for sure, but fits all other constraints ! (fanless, very small, decent look)

Motherboard : Gigabyte GA-A75N-USB3 : http://www.gigabyte.com/products/pro...pid=4030#ovCPU :
--> probably not as good as Asus F1A75-I Deluxe, but it still looks great and is much cheaper. Should be more than enough for a light HTPC build.

AMD A6-3500
--> It's cheap, has a great GPU, does not run too hot,... It appears that it might even run undervolted and stable at stock speed...

RAM : 2*4Go DDR3 1600Mhz
--> or 2*2 GO ?

SSD : Corsair F40 40Go
--> re-use

PSU: Pico PSU 90W : http://cgi.ebay.fr/picoPSU-90-96W-AC...ht_3865wt_1114
--> 90W enough ?

According to MISTER renethx excellent post http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showt...4#post21633904 :
The A6-3500 APU should be enough to get maximum quality from any 720p24 / 1080p24 content without any trouble (which is more than 95% of my video library)

According to other users, passive heat dissipation from the FC8 case should be enough for an A6-3500, especially if we consider that:
_ the APU load should be somewhere between 40% and 70% during HD playback (with MadVR)
_ no HDD, no DVD/BluRay drive, no TV/SAT card inside the case

And now some questions !

1/ I don't know anything about pico PSU. Do you think the 90W PSU in the link above will be able to drive this build without any trouble ? Or a 120W would be more adapted ? (the Llaao will probably run undervolted)
Do I need any additional adapter or anything else to plug it on the motherboard (it looks fine but like I said, I really don't know anything about that...)

2/ DDR: 2*2Go would maybe be enough ? and consume less energy
About this, should I look to Low Voltage DDR (1.35V for example) ? any interest ? or would it only reduce the overall consumption by 1-2 watts ?

Any remark about this build ? any error I would have maid ? any idea ? any suggestion ?
Any comment appreciated !

EDIT: sorry for my scolar english

A quick picture of the case, I love it

The only question I'd like to ask is if you ever considered the HD-Plex H5.SODD instead. It isn't quite out yet, but hopefully it will be soon.

I think the 90W picoPSU would be enough. The picoPSU-120 with 102W AC adapter is nice combination too. I am not sure about using an AC adapter rated at a higher wattage than the picoPSU though. I always see them with equal or lower. Perhaps you can find a 90W or 84W AC adapter for the 90W picoPSU, not the 96W in the listing you show above.

That chassis has been "coming soon" since last summer (2011).

It sure looks nice, but:
_ not available, and no real idea about the release date
_ 325mmx438mmx60mm (L x W x H) : too deep (or large)
_ based on H3 prices, I expect an insane price for the H5, maybe 300$ just for a case...

FWIW, I built a fanless HTPC using HD-Plex's H3.S case (no optical drive, I didn't want one in my HTPC) and I love it.

Totally silent, great build quality, and I love the fact it looks like a "real" piece of home theater equipment, instead of just a PC case.

Yes, it was expensive at around $300, but it was worth every penny. I'm extremely pleased with mine.
