I had my HTM-800 working long time ago. Since then have upgraded to Win7. Have had issues, and now finally trying to fix. I use in conjunction with Girder.
I have learned the codes from a MS Remote. I initially had problems with repeating keys, but then in Girder, I set the anti-repeat slow.
Works, except...when I press the Fast Forward, it only fast forwards at 4X. With some experimentation, I have found that in order to get it to FF faster, I need anti-repeat to work, which then screws up just about everything else.
Has anyone solved such a problem as this?

Also, I am finding that I need the remote to alternate between 2 different codes if I want to repeat a command. For example if I push the left button, on my learned remote, it only works once, becuase it only learns one of the 2 alternating codes put out by the MS remote.
Any ideas on this one?
(I don't know how I had it working before, assumning it works the same now in the system).
