Hey guys what version of silver fire do I need for best daylight viewing with the qumi? I plan on mounting it about 12 feet from the screen. Thanks in advance.

Don't thank me too soon.

That PJ will be at a distance that....while giving you a 106" diagonal image, will also only be providing 9 foot lamberts.

It's only a 300 Lumen unit, and as such you need some real gain.

Easiest suggestion? RS-MaxxMudd LL

Best choice? See Easiest Suggestion

Wisest path to take? The Best choice and a PJ placement of 10' 4" (92" diagonal & 15 fl.)

Silver Fire determined? SF v2.5 2.0 @ 92" diagonal

You could get another one a stack them.....

Thanks MM I appreciate it, Do you have another LED suggestion? How about the optoma ml500? it's 500 lumens.

I like the Optoma best...but even so, ambient light resistance is dependent of optimizing PJ'd Light received as opposed Ambient light. An effective amount of PJ's light must be available to drive into a Gray'd surface w/gain or it's not gonna do much good.

Screen size will still tell the tale....and I'm hatin' myself for being the one to tell ya to go smaller. With the "O" you can manage 106" and use a SF 2.5 2.0 but you still have to try to manage ambient light sensibly. 92-96" diagonal would be all the more reasonable to shoot for.

Yes. RS-MaxxMudd LL will provide the most gain....SF 2.5 2.0 the most Contrast boosting and ambient light resistance.
