Crestron AES Adagio Entertainment System - Setup

Hello all,

Just purchased a used Crestron AES off of eBay and am having a problem setting it up and am hoping to find a few answers from someone that has done or witnessed an installation.

First:
The LCD screen is not legible and hard to see the writing unless you look at a cretin angle, almost as if the dimming on it is out of whack and is in need of adjustment. I was unable to find such a control.

Second:
Can't get in to Installer Tools Mode, when pressing Source + Room buttons it does not take me in to Installer Tools Mode as it should but takes me in to System Information where it shows previous owners information. Do I need to reset the system in some way to get access in to Installer Tools Mode?

Any help is appreciated as I need to determine if this is a setting thing or the item was sold to me broken.

Well I figured out how to reset the system to factory conditions but still can't figure out how to resolve the LCD screen issue. Can anyone help?
