Riser calculator and riser question.

Does anyone have. 159" screen with 2 rows of seats. Because hanging it from a 8' ceiling it is only 9" off the floor. And using the riser calculator it says my riser must be like 30" high. I find that hard to believe. What should the height really be.

Sounds plausible. But to do any confirmations, we'd need to know the eyeball distances for each row, and the eyeball height (off floor) in front row. Any option to run a smaller screen? Or a 2.40:1 screen?

The first row eyeball to screen us 15' the second row is 21'. The height for first row is 39" to eyes and second row is 39" to eyes.

Looks like the riser would have to be about 1.5'. Much less that the 30". Which calculator was that?
