Will my projector be able to display 3D?

Hello.

I have a 3D ready projector I'm planning on using with my computer. I gather that an HDMI cable is required to display 3D, which I have, but the problem is that my graphics card does not have an HDMI output, only DVI.

My question is: to display 3D, can I use the HDMI cable with a DVI adapter at the GPU, or do I have to get a new graphics card with native HDMI support?

You can do 3D with VGA but Hollywierd won't let you. I use a DVI to HDMI cable to my projector but a DVI to HDMI adapter should work.

Edit: Do you have some software to play 3DBD?

I'm not familiar with the term 3DBD. Are there issues with using a computer as a 3D player?

Thanks for the answer by the way.

3DBD = 3D Blue Disc

You need some kind of software to play BD (BluRay)
A BD drive and a graphics card capable of Stereo3D.
Graphics cards for 3D gaming have been around for over a decade but Stereo3D is something else. 3DBD are Stereo3D. Only graphics cards made in the last couple of years can handle Stereo3D.
