Help selecting 4 Flat panels for Lakefront Home (Glare).

I am helping a friend of mine set up his newly built lakefront home with 4 new flat panels. I have been out of the game for a bit (I have a Panasonic 58V10, and no intentions of replacing until I buy a new home in 2-3 years).

Each room has HUGE windows, opening on to the lake, where sunsets will be viewed, so glare is a major issue (probably the most important). I have always preferred plasma displays; however, I realize glare is generally an issue (even with my V10, and a skylight). I would like each of the TVs to match (same series, different sizes).

What's best in anti-glare right now? Aesthetically pleasing and anti-glare is more important than image accuracy to this customer. They will not be professionally calibrated, just done using Disney's WOW, and Spears Munsil blu-rays.

Sizes:
(2) 40-42" - guest bedrooms
(1) 50" - master bedrooms
(1) 58"-70" - Living room

Any/all guidance is appreciated. 3D glasses need not be included, but WiFi with Hulu Plus and NetFlix is preferred.

Thanks.

The Sharp Aquos product line has nice glare-suppressing matte screens and bright backlighting for daylight use in a bright room. They have 40" models for the guest bedrooms and 60" or 70" models for the living room. For the master bedroom, there is no 50", the choices are 46" or 52".

IMHO these are not quite state-of-the-art HDTVs. But they are in the top 10-15% from an image quality standpoint.

These can often be found at excellant prices at Costco, particularly that spectacular 70" model.

Most uninformative website ever. It would be nice if they provided a model breakdown. I'm not understanding their model series, and the advantages between them, other than 3D, and refresh rate. What's the best model series for these uses? Aesthetically pleasing is preferred.

The glare rejection of all but the cheapest Panasonic plasmas is actually pretty good these days. I'm not sure how you test this, mind you, but it's quite good.

Gary's Sharp recommendation isn't bad either, but I find -- for example -- in Costco, the Sharps do a remarkable job of reflecting back those overhead lights. They are bright LCDs, which means that they'll do a good job in bright rooms of sort of overpowering things.

I suppose if you want the biggest TV, this is moot, it has to be a Sharp set, period -- the only 70" you can get. Theoretically, a Panasonic ST collection would come close to meeting the needs of the customer and is reasonably attractive too (the Sharps are not especially beautiful).

We're not set on size yet, I need to do some measuring once I get there. I'd love to suggest Panasonic Plasma, but hesitant because of the supposed superior anti-glare my V10 has, but being driven crazy by the reflection of my skylight. I guess I could test using a flashlight? I suppose 3 or 4 generations may have improved the quality.
