Hi to all that have helped on this FLAC File issue,
I finally began to understand what various people were explaining and realized that I needed another piece of software to make this work (Denon does not make this very clear in my opinion). I downloaded TVersity and sure enough I can now play FLAC files, however, it transcodes them over to Mp3, but at least I can now play them and not have to manually convert a bunch of files. So at least for now all is pretty good!!

- Allow you to listen to songs without a gap. The mp3 gap on Denon is shorter than some other media players, but still noticeable.
- Avoid real or imagined degradation in quality (depends on the mp3 bitrate)
- Avoid CPU use on your server during the transcode (not large, but also not zero)
