3D Glasses for Sony HX850

New here, so please excuse a newbie question. I am into hi-end stereo, but the disease has spread now to TVs, etc. - so a few ???s

Anyway we are having a HX850 delivered Friday and are looking for some 3d glasses. The Sony Titniums look nice, however we desire the best quality, etc.

Any other suggestions?

Probably best to not buy Sony if you're looking for quality. Their 3D is atrocious.

There are a number of off-brand 3D glasses manufacturers that you might want to check out. Search on Google or shopping sites like Amazon for glasses that are specifically for your TV.

No sorry. I meant Sony TVs have atrocious 3D. You should consider returning the TV.

Far and away the best ones are the new Sony Titanium ones. They are expensive, but much more comortable and reduce eyestrain and flicker, just as advertised. I've tried them on my friend's set, and the difference from the first and second generation glasses is significant.

Sony seems to be all over the place with 3D performance. Some of the lower end 2011 model are truly poor, but other higher end Sony models (even from 2010) do pretty well. From reviews so far, it seems you chose one of the better ones.
