Thoughts on surround placement. (bedroom)

Here are a couple pictures of the back of my room.
Currently I have my surrounds located in the pictures below circled in red.
How much quality of the surround am I sacrificing with the positioning?
I could perhaps face them into the closets?

I could also perhaps put one onto of my computer and the other one on top of my nightstand. Would be closer to the correct degrees off axis but would be lower.

Any thoughts would be great.
Main LP is the seat in the middle.

I would mount them on the rear wall above the closet opening.

Is this a 5.1 system where these are the Side Surrounds or is this a 7.1 system and these are the Back Surrounds?

If a 5.1 system (Side Surrounds) you should have the speakers at 90 to 110 degrees (directly to the left and right or slightly behind the Main Listening Position) and if a 7.1 system (Back Surrounds) the speakers should be behind the Main Listening Position on the back wall.

Where they "should be" isn't going to work in that room.

Yep that's really my problem.. should is kinda impossible. Which is a shame but a sacrifice I have to make for now. Alright moving them to the outside should be easy enough with a basic shelf. I would probably lay them on the side to fit above the frame of the opening.

Thanks
