Aton DLA4 to iTach Hardwired

Thread Starter
I am trying to follow the instructions for hard wiring the IR listed on the Aton site here: http://atonhome.com/xTras/Downloads/...lustration.pdf
But I am not getting any success with it. I am using iRule to transmit the signal. Has anyone tried this?

If I am not mistaken, I think the Aton takes a Xantech type of IR input. Meaning a 12V, Signal, and Ground. It may need to be rewired.

I purchased a Global Cache GC-CGX cable that I will be using to connect my iTach to a Xantech block. Then the Xantech block to an Aton.

Hope this helps...

Yep, you need the compatibility cable - ran into the same issue. It's not a matter of re-wiring, the GC outputs are a different voltage level than the Xantech "standard", unfortunately... Hopefully any future products from GC will be directly compatible.

FYI - I purchased my cable from ASIHome. They offer free shipping to Cocoon members....
