Saw this on the shelf at Best Buy today 399 for the 1613. Here is a pic of the back panel on the box that compares the features of the 3 units.

If you have a smart phone, there's a Sirius/XM app for that.

Denon has been doing this on the lower level (ie. non "CI") models for quite some time to beef up their power rating. These models are typically out on the Best Buy showroom, while the "CI" models are in the Magnolia showrooms.

JD,
I have the 3312 , and I am bothered that there is no Sirius/XM support. I have a smart phone and I have the Sirius/XM app. How can I play it through my Denon 3312 ?

Just check the output specs carefully...
As they decrease the AVR's over design (mainly power supply) the power drops big time..
Then the marketing boys go in and jack up the specs so the less informed 1st time buyer thinks it has the same power as last year's model..

The majority of entry level AVRs have about the same level of power output as a high performance SoundDesign compact music system of a few years back..

Just my $0.02...

The new Denon XX13 models currently released (1913 and lower) are covered in post #1 and #2 in the Denon XX13 Owner's thread.

I have no personal experience with it, however, you should be able to use Airplay to stream it to the AVR once you run the SiriusXM app on your phone.

what is the difference between new 1913 and 2112, as the new 1913 has networking and airplay now?

EDIT: Never mind, got it.

You're better served posting in the Denon XX13 Owner's thread I linked to above as this thread just points out the 1613 is available at Best Buy.

That said, the 1912 has Airplay and networking as well. The 2112CI has 1 more year of warranty as well as the better version of Audssey MultEQ XT.

I am sorry I meant 1613.
