I am just curious as to why you cant paint but are going to be able to cover the walls and ceiling? I am a landlord and would much rather one of my tenants tell me that he wants to paint for a theater than put nail holes everywhere. Putting putty in each hole and sanding will take longer to prep than actually painting the room would take is why I say this.
I had a woman literally hang 47 pictures in the living room (14x17) alone one time and it literally blew my mind how she thought she was going to get her deposit back. I dont personally allow people to paint unless they sit down and talk to me first. I then explain to them that painting has to be done in a professional manner and if they think they can do it without getting paint on the trim, ceiling, carpet, etc... then proceed at their own risk of losing their deposit.
How are you going to attach all of the fabric?
