I have a Benq W6000 DLP projector and was looking for the the best meter under $250.00, the more info the better. Thanks

Well if you're looking for a meter and home theater calibration software, then you're probably looking at something like the C1 (spyder 4 enhanced) with CalMAN. The next step up that blows your budget by $50 is the i1 Display Pro (3).

There honestly isn't much selection for new meters with the software you'll need to calibrate a projector under $250.

SpectraCal does have a rental program as well.

What would be the easiest auto cal set up for a beginner? for a projector set up

The i1 Display Pro is going for 250 on newegg. This coupled with HCFR would be a good place to start imo.
