Audiosource S3D60 or ZVOX 420/220?

I recently purchased the ZVOX 220 for my bedroom TV. I know a few people who have the ZVOX 550 and I think it sounds great for what it is -- a compact all-in-one unit. Knowing what the 550 sounds like, I was initially disappointed with the 220's lack of low end bass but after it got broken in over a few weeks it now sounds much better. Now I am quite satisfied with it for the bedroom. However, I would probably not be happy with the 220 in a larger room like a living room. If you have room and the budget for a larger ZVOX then you should consider the 550.

I have not heard the Audiosource S3D60 so I cannot offer an opinion on it.

Despite not having heard either the Audiosource S3D60 or the Zvox 220/420, I took a dive yesterday & won a Zvox 420 on EBay. I really liked what I read about the S3D60 on Amazon, however, the soundbar is a few inches too long for my TV stand and would not blend in well with the setting. I ended up going for the 420 as I did not want to sacrifice aesthetic harmony for volume, lol! I would have got a 220 if it were not for use in the living room, after all, the model has received quite a few positive reviews online from various owners. As a 220 owner, your testimony truly cleared my doubt about the sound quality of Zvox soundbars. Again, thanks!
